The Saxy Musicians

Judah Sealy

National Smooth Jazz Recording Artist Judah Sealy is a Billboard Charting Saxophonist, Keyboardist and Producer from Rochester N.Y.

Judah picked up the saxophone at a young age while attending School of The Arts from middle school to high school. (Class of ’02). Judah graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College in ’07 with a B.A in Music. Shortly after graduating college Judah became a regular on the Rochester music scene as a side man and eventually as a bandleader in the years to come. During high school and while in college he found a knack for producing music. In May of 2014 Judah Sealy released his first self-produced single “Lifted” which led to his first smooth jazz album entitled “The Arrival” on August 14th 2015. This album featured hit songs such as “Timeless Love” and “Nightime”. His follow up to his debut album was a Christmas album entitled “A Judah Sealy Christmas” which was released in December 2016.

May of 2018 saw the release of his highly anticipated album “Welcome Home”. The 14-track album was written and produced entirely by Judah Sealy and features the hit single “Turn It Up”. “Talking Smooth Jazz” ranked “Welcome Home” as one of the top ten albums of 2018. Judah’s single “Turn It Up” was his first single to receive national airplay and be played on Sirius XM Watercolors.

John Troy

John began studies of the saxophone at age 10, to which he was introduced via the encouragement and the support of family and parents, developing interest in classical/concert music under William Eicher, and jazz/theory studies under Dave Schiavone. While continuing his education at Fredonia University, John explored classical saxophone studies under Wildy Zumwalt, and jazz saxophones under Bruce Johnstone.

JAT furthered his studies, attending Purchase Conservatory, under the tutelage of Eric Alexander and commercial doubler Mark Vinci, earning his Bachelors of Arts in jazz studies (woodwinds).

John maintains an active itinerary as a performer, instructor, and clinician throughout the east coast of the United States. Recent performances include The John Brown Big Band, Nicholas Payton, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Take 6, Revive Big Band, Regina Carter, Goapole, and the Erie Philharmonic. He has most recently served as a clinician for Penn State and the NC Arts Council. Gaining experience via touring productions through musicals and cabaret-style shows, John has since traveled extensively as a soloist, guest artist, as well as a variety of concerts and engagements for commercial bands and musicals

Ken Witman

Kenneth “Ken” Witman’s musical roots run deep within his family, drawing inspiration from his exceptionally talented father and grandfather. But it doesn’t stop there. One of Ken’s greatest musical idols is the legendary Mike Brecker, whose extraordinary talents have carved an everlasting groove in Ken’s musical journey. Hailing from the vibrant west side of Buffalo, NY, Kenny’s childhood was steeped in music and culture.

Will Holton

His God-given talents on the saxophone have led him on a journey from part-time musician to opening act to headlining marquee performer and life-coach for students.

For the past 12 years, Buffalo, NY native Saxophonist Will Holton has showcased local and national talent with his different concert series (Love Cadenza, Night of Stars, Soulful Spring, Christmas to Remember, Generations, and Sax in The City). With a deep passion for the success of the musician & singer community, Holton’s concerts have showcased many of Buffalo’s rising stars and have reintroduced some of the legends to a new audience. Together we can close the generational gap!

Will’s intention is for these artists to see higher in themselves and surpass their own goals. Some of the performers have turned into influential, powerful mainstays in Buffalo, and others are currently touring the world.

Holton has shared the stage with many greats of the industry, such as Roy Ayers, Jon B., Tim Bowman, and Najee, to name a few…

As a B.M.I. Music Publisher, he has written songs for two different Grammy-Nominated Albums which have had great success debuting at both #1 and #2 on the contemporary jazz billboard charts for Smooth Jazz Pioneer Saxophonist – Najee.

Holton’s breakout debut album Always (2009) showcased his chops as a consummate jazz musician and composer.

The fine print.
